Update!!!! I Made it through day 1 woohoo!!!!! Today's smoothie has a thicker texture which I'm not a fan of but the taste is super yummy! You really cant taste the greens which makes me wish I started adding greens (spinach, spring mix) to my smoothies and shakes earlier as I always lack getting in my veggies! I'm not weighing till the end but my husband lost 2.2lbs! He's a guy and their weight just falls off by looking at healthy foods. I'm proud of him for being so disciplined. We started on his birthday and he still committed 100%. Only thing I'm doing that he's not is the apple cider vinegar, I mix 2 tablespoons with a bottle of water. Not a fan of that either but it does kick my metabolism up first thing!

Learning to Accept and Embrace Pain⠀

The feeling of pain is by no means fun. It can prove to be excruciating at times, and simply overwhelming if one is not prepared for it. But through the experience of pain, people become better. They have something to compare pleasure to. They increase their pain tolerance and cognitive ability, and can elicit a positive emotional response from others, which can be used to create a more positive world. This is what I hope to achieve through my Twelve Labors, and I believe that I am on my way to doing just that. ⠀ ⠀
Do not fear pain. Under the right context, it can be a tool for self-discovery, mindfulness, and a great multiplier in life. You just need to find a purpose or cause that makes it worth embracing. ⠀

Happy Friday!! November is here and a lot of us are dealing with winter blues. It is dark and cold outside. We feel lazy to do our daily activities and don’t like to exercise. We’d rather to sleep in before work and when we come back from work we’d rather to wear our comfy pijamas and watch Netflix. Is this familiar? Do you deal with winter blues too? .

Now, it’s time to get yourself back on track. We have less than two months to holidays and this can be a good motivation to get yourself back on track. Start planning your day, set a new goal, incorporate physical activity of some sort every day and eat proper healthy food (that keeps you warm and cozy).
