I used to struggle so much with this. Food had to be 'clean', under a certain amount of calories, no sugar, minimal carbs. I used to waste so much time thinking/stressing about food, what to eat, when to eat, how much to eat and not for how it would nourish my body and how it would make me feel but for how I would look.
I have come a long way and have to say although I am not "there" yet I am so much better than I used to be. Since eating a variety of wholefoods and fat each day, I find my cravings are less, I don't obsess about food anymore. I eat what I feel like and luckily it's nutritious yummy foods!
