Lately I haven't been sleeping well. I've had a lot on my mind- ALL good my friends, no worries 😊 but no sleep doesn't really help with my levels of productivity or chasing after a toddler all day!! I'm so glad I have this sleep spray. I used it last night and I finally slept so good. The deleterious effects of sleep deprivation are well documented. Sleep deprivation has been shown to reduce the capacity to encode new memories, can lower mood, can increase blood pressure, can increase body weight and can cause anxiety. For mom's, sleep deprivation is almost unavoidable. I have been sleep deprived for about a year now, as my little guy is not aware of these studies! Thankfully, in the past few nights he has decided that it is safe to sleep through the night. Fortunately, a recent study was published in the journal Sleep showing that our bodies are able to catch up on sleep. They found that weekend sleep extensions may have biologically protective effects in preventing sleep related disorders and obesity. Even if you have been sleep deprived for some time, you can catch up! Now, time for sleep!!!!!
For new mom's in the NOLA area who are struggling with sleep training, I highly recommend Sleepless In NOLA and lot's of patience. :) For those of you who just can't sleep, I love diffusing lavender and cedarwood in the room and even putting a few drops on your pillow and rubbing them on the feet. Avoid all electronics at least an hour before sleep; try reading instead.

So I have been a bit quiet the last few days mainly due to not having the energy and motivation and not having any of my Thrive products to get me through the long days with the sick kiddies and a household full of germs πŸ˜·πŸ€•πŸ€’ not to mention the 2 all nighters well really til 3am up watching Mickey Mouse with Blaine while he had trouble sleeping but felt like all nighters.

This led to a few days off work to get it all under control and spend time with the sick minions and then I went off to work yesterday and I felt like an absolute walking zombie.
No energy, no patience, no focus and a lack of ability to function from being tired and just emotionally drained.
Thankfully I picked up these life savers yesterday and started again today and my God was I a happy chappy.
I Knew they wouldn't kick in again instantly but by lunchtime I felt clear minded and back in control again. My mind felt like it was pulling itself back together and my patience level was going back to normal and my energy was slowly lifting.

Even though I am a little sick now too, I am feeling good mentally and still have a bit of energy despite having three days of being tired and run off my feet and now i am able to get back into my Thrive routine.

It's the weirdest thing to explain how great they can make you feel so quickly and it's amazing to notice the difference after not taking them and going back to your normal self.
It seriously is the best thing to experience, they really are a game changer.
