WARNING: public service announcement! 🌎
last year, for the first time, i participated in my town's annual roadside trash cleanup. this year i lucked out and got to clean up the prettiest road in town, Prospect Hill Road. it's part of a popular biking route, has this beautiful view and leads you right to the charming Fruitlands Museum. i kept finding myself thinking about the fools who left their trash behind. how can you not want to keep our earth clean? nature is basically the coolest thing you'll ever come in contact with!
i'm fairly certain that most of you agree with me here. so, if you're feeling like doing something small (and 😎) that impacts a whole lot of living things (not just humans) go check out if your town is participating in a roadside cleanup. and if they aren't, organize one yourself or freestyle a cleanup with your family or friends! it'll be great i promise!
pro tip: wear bug spray, beware of ticks, poison ivy and innumerable pee bottles you'll inevitably pick up. 🤢
