Unfortunately this isn't a post about a delicious cheesecake. But this beautiful desert is something I can no longer have after what happened yesterday.
At around 8.10am yesterday morning I had a sudden urge to be sick. I ran upstairs so I wouldn't be sick around my 2 year old. But by the time I got to the bathroom I collapsed to the floor in agony. I had felt this same pain in January and everyone told me it was a panic attack. This pain was horrendous, it was so bad that I passed out and was awoken to my daughter screaming over the top of me. I was still in absolute agony. I had to try and get down the stairs to get to my phone to try and get my partner home. This attack lasted around 50 minutes and eased by the time my partner arrived. I then went on to have two further attacks before lunchtime. I was in agony I was screaming in pain. I kept thinking happy thoughts to prevent it as everyone was so sure it was a panic attack. It hurt so much I wanted to die, I would have rather have died than carried on with this pain. It got to a point where my partner decided to get help, he phoned the Dr's who told us to phone 999. I was then rushed to hospital by ambulance. Our two amazing friends took care of our daughter and picked up our up son from school. I then went on to have one more attack in the waiting room, I appologise to anyone that heard me screaming and swearing.
I had blood tests done and it turns out I have gall stones and an inflamed liver. They said the pain caused can be close to that of a heart attack. I have been sent home on a no fat and no sugar diet. After researching, it seems that they probably formed when I had pre eclampsia with my son as my cholesterol shot up when I was ill. And high cholesterol causes the stones. My cholesterol is fine now so had to have been then. I am now terrified at the thought of having another attack around my children and when I'm alone. My daughter explained what happened to my partner and it was very upsetting to hear.
I am gutted as I won't be able to eat my wedding food! I don't want to bring on attacks for the honeymoon.
So does anyone have any tasty no fat no sugar recipes that I could try??
