Today I failed. This was a scheme of 6x3, I cut the video a little short because I just wasn’t able to hit that 3rd rep. But today, I got better. Stronger. My PR from power snatch was 105# and this was 115# from the hang, not once, but twice. I felt strong, I felt powerful. Even in my failure, I stuck with it and handled the 2nd one. My technique needs work, but I did hit the bar with my hips, and I squated, something i used to not make myself do. I used to HATE snatch days and one cycle I skipped snatch day a few times. Now, I’m working on that weakness. Snatch is my WORST lift, technically and the amount of weight I can throw around... but I’m coming for you nice snatch.... I’m mountains away from where I started, and nowhere near where i wanna be. OLY classes are calling my name!
