Long winded post ahead‼️
(please read if “losing weight” is something you desire!) I’ve been seeing this post shared, luckily it’s been by fellow STRONG girls/guys LAUGHING at these “ideals”. Truly, because these are laughable.
According to this I am over weight for my height 🙄. ‼️NOW HEAR THIS ⏭Your body weight MEANS NOTHING without understanding its composition.
I had a body composition analysis recently with InBody 570 (98% accurate compared to the DEXA full body MRI) and according to that I am 13% body fat WHICH DIRECTLY CONTRADICTS THIS CHART. Now some people may say that’s “too low”. I am muscular build and majority of my 133 pounds (of which 13 is “over weight” compared to this chart) is mostly made of 87% stuff other than fat. Ei: bone, water, minerals, blood, plasma and yes muscle. If you don’t consume enough water your BF will be/read higher.
In my opinion these numbers are written by outdated system and compared to a general population of people are mostly sedentary & who do not exercise enough, I know that and many people around me know that.... but so many OTHERS do not.
So I’m here to tell you, DONT LET THE SCALE DETERMINE YOUR HAPPINESS! Because that number doesn’t paint the entire picture. If you want to lose body fat and gain muscle, find a gym that can offer you BOTH exercise & nutrition.
