So I've made it this far, it's no surprise really. The goal I'm longing to reach isn't to just beat everyone in the tournament to capture the IWGP Heavyweight championship, it's to dominate anyone willing to get in the way of making it happen. None of these men know New Japan like I do, I know what it takes to make a statement. I know the sacrifice, the cost, because I've been through it all. The fans, this RING; you'd have to be foolishness enough to get in the way of the man who CONQUERED Japan and is looking to do it again. The first 'foreign outsider' to do so. Looking at his competition; AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Randy Orton — there was no sense of worry. After all, he was facing the most overrated professional wrestler on the roster Randy Orton, and it would be quite easy putting down the 'viper.' To see the looks on everyone's face as the Cleaner pins the Viper for the three count. It's bound to happen, it's inevitable. Japan is, and will always be my home. Both Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles competed in Japan; but did they dominate? No! It was me who took over, and it's shameful for you Nakamura, that it was your hometown I took over. You'd think Japan's greatest professional wrestler would be Japanese but oh no.. He's Canadian! What feels like another world away. Japan is his home now. Shinsuke, when you left Japan for the WWE; you lost that right to hold that crown. You lost your privilege to call yourself the 'King' of Strong Style, because when you left there was a NEW King. The King who went by the name of Kenny Omega. It took time and patience to blow up, but it was damn right worth it. On the latest episode of NJPW — which you can find on the NJPW World network, four people advanced in the tournament for the great, IWGP Heavyweight championship. And that would be me, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and Shinsuke Nakamura.
