Hello family! I am so sorry I've been missing for the past few days. Uni and work has been kicking my ass as usual so I'm waking up in the dark and getting home in the dark. Anyway! I'm so behind on the cultbeauty skincare challenge but I'm determined to finish it so here are all of my MASKS. Of course there is the ✨#maylindstrom honey mud, need I say more? ✨the #niod flavanone mud mask. I've used this a few times and I think I like it. It does really seem to clear up my skin and congestion if I use it regularly enough. I do enjoy that it's gentle, non-invasive and very powerful. But it does sting when I remove it and it can cause some redness. This is not an indication of irritation, in fact niod advertise that this sensation is normal. But I do find that I don't reach for this often enough because I'm never in the mood for my skin to sting! I will finish this up but then I think i may opt for the #omorovicza deep cleansing mask because I prefer something more luxurious in terms of experience. Lastly the ✨#aesop blue chamomile hydrating masque. I have similar feelings about this as I do the flavanone. It works, but it's so active that it always burns a little and flushes my skin. Again, this is normal. But I never go for it because I enjoy relaxing with my masks instead of waiting for a burning or stinging to stop! I do enjoy the thick gel texture of this and it really does plump out and hydrate my skin. But I think it just boils down to my personal preference in masks. In that, I need a mask that feels lovely and sensorial as well as the active effects. Does such a thing exist??
