#FunctionalTraining is so important to any athlete in addition to the sports-specific training. But not just for athletes, the goal is to keep the body #fitandhealthy in any stage of life. Being #pregnant and #travelling means I can't #paddle with my #TeamPaunch and not really capable of practicing my #martialarts ... so it's easy to fall in a gap and let go of the routine. Well I don't feel good doing that. So I keep up with daily exercises the best I can, and it helps me to feel so much better and energetic. I'm #32weeks now and some of my favorite exercises are the plyee-squat, the classic lunge and the hip raisers. Very helpful to keep the hip-flexers strong and flexible to help with delivery. Combined with some low intensity cardio and knee push-ups and planks, I'll get the full routine for my body to stay fit. Not trying to break any fitness goals here ♡ Im wearing my favorite #NikeTop at the moment for medium support, gives me all the comfort and support I need now that I'm carrying all the extra weight.
The extra weight is also awesome for the legs with the squats and lunges by the way ;) ☆☆☆
