Projected seeds: Rams, Saints, Bears, Redskins, Panthers, Vikings
It’s pretty obvious why I picked the Rams to have the 1st seed in the NFC. They’re undefeated and have been able to win games on offense and on defense. I think the Saints will end up with the 2nd seed. They started off with a loss but since have since won 4 straight. Their 2nd half of the season is anything but easy, but getting wins over good teams will prove they deserve a top seed. The Bears are one of the NFL’s most surprising teams and they’re currently in 1st in the NFC North. With the NFC East having no clear favorite, whoever wins the NFC North will most likely take the 3 seed, and right now the Bears are taking over the division. As for the NFC East, a lot could change, but the Redskins are looking the best. I think a lot of things will change in the NFC before the playoffs begin and the Panthers and Vikings will keep improving. Will they improve enough to win their division? That’s unknown for now, but it could happen. With that said, my Super Bowl prediction 6 weeks in is the Rams (obviously) over the Ravens. They’re two of the most complete teams in the NFL but they still have a lot to prove and there’s a lot more football to be played.
