It all started on Monday 25/04/2016 when we were to check our place of primary assignment and my friend Jerry @juzt4jerry tried reassuring me to be calm that it's just a phase, Had to call my Big sis- Mrs Onwudinjo Chigozie @chygoznkem as early as 5a.m to check since I couldn't access it with my phone and she called back to say it's Enugu, there and then I knew God was with me on this journey, cause he had shown it to me earlier and I doubted cause I didn't want Enugu.
Fast forward to Wednesday I left for camp, and the stress and fear I faced that day is story for another day, camp activities were rigorous for those who understand awgu hills they can relate, and in camp I became the Head Chef for platoon 10,my first ministry and we took first in the kitchen activities.
I was posted to Nkanu West Lga, Ozalla High School,Ozalla and I wondered why me?,when I kept hearing shouts of Enugu west, north, east around me, called my mum and she said I haven't prayed enough.
I got to Ozalla and the journey began, asides teaching I also had to mentor and was even appointed the students welfare officer, revived the literary and debate club cause it's something I have a passion for, we participated in a competition and got to the state level.
Back to CDs I was made the president of NAFDAC/Drug Free CDs group and I must say it was an awesome experience serving and I would greatly miss our sensitizations.
Well all in all it has been an awesome year, only God's grace could have kept me this far and I was able to learn a whole lot, I met the good, bad and ugly, lessons learned.
It also gave me a platform to learn new skills (Bead making), Harnessed old skills (speaking), Become internationally certified(BISO, BPMA), and many more.
My greatest testimony is my life and my health, I was never hospitalized it could only be God.
Many thanks to my family, my friends, my colleagues and everyone I met on this journey, I love you all.
And @nysc_9ja thanks for bring life changing opportunities to my notice.
To our fallen heroes may God grant you peace.
