So, um, I went inside the New York Public Library for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I cannot believe I have never been in before…sure, I’ve walked by it countless times, looked at it while I sat in Bryant Park…but for some reason just never went in
I obviously didn’t know what I was missing! The Rose Main Reading Room is absolutely stunning — it’s almost the size of a football field. A fun fact, it is one of the biggest rooms in the US without interior columns or steel-reinforced walls that support the ceiling
Looking up at the murals gives you an illusion of looking up at the sky
