《6/6》The last day everyone set up the net and ended off the trip with a game of Volleyball in the sunset before heading back to reality.
Previous News Years were usually spent at some sort of party downtown, at a friends place, going to watch fireworks, or even sleeping, where you wish a Happy New Year, go home and call it a night. But this didn’t just end like the others; this was a two-day experience where we all came together at our worst and our best, old and new friends, back to the basics appreciating life. Taking time to reflect on the previous things and what we want in the future so we can step in to the New Year accordingly. This was by far the most appreciative and thoughtful New Years I’ve had. We normally get so lost in planning an event, figuring out what to do that we forget to just stop and appreciate what’s around us and in our lives.
