Alright friends, here goes nothing.
I have been doing a LOT of soul searching lately. These past several weeks have been a whirlwind, and overwhelming to say the least. I am going to be making a ton of changes in regards to how I live my life. I am going to focus on become healthy, and I mean truly healthy again, within my mind, my body, and my soul. There are several things I've already done, such as started therapy again and have been utilizing some self-care remedies as well. Some of you who follow me in other forms of social media may have noticed that I've been working out again, but not at the gym.
My anxiety has actually gotten to the point that leaving the house when I'm alone has become extremely difficult. I have found one way to counteract this anxiety is through exercise; specifically, yoga! A friend of mine convinced me to try the BeachBody 21-Day Fix, which I LOVED, but had a hard time finding the motivation to complete some of the workouts! I had signed up with BeachBody through a specific promotion that gives me access to EVERY. SINGLE. BEACHBODY. WORKOUT. EVER. (There's thousands you guys...Insanity, P90x, Hip-Hop Abs, ALL OF 'EM.) SO. I looked through the library and found some yoga challenges.
Ya'll....this has been life-changing for me. Truly. At the very least, for a half hour every day I get out of my own head and get to relax. I have found it to be so therapeutic, and I am absolutely stoked about the results it's been having on my body!
