Meet Matt Wrobel, part of the NETTTS Team in Bridgeport, CT! Matt has nearly 20 years of experience in the trucking and transportation industry working with motor carriers to help them create a safer truck driver.
What advice do you have for incoming students?
“It’s not just about learning to drive a truck, it’s about becoming a Professional Truck Driver. It doesn’t just happen the day a student gets their license or the day they start driving for a company. It starts on day #1 here at the school. Start to think of yourself as a professional on the first day. Practice those important habits that will make you stand out.” What is a students key to success?
“You’ve got to be here to learn. Come to school, be on time, and pay attention. Ask for help when you need it and offer help to others. There’s a lot of learning that happens when you teach a cartain maneuver or skill to someone else.”
