This is for Sunday's #myhouseinjuly post - the prompt was #upcycle... So this is the rack I use to display cushion covers at craft fairs and to store cushion covers at home. It was originally the frame for my son's baby bouncer (and before that even, it was used by my niece and nephews). I've covered it with tubes of fabric where I had removed the hems from old curtains (before making them into cushion covers), so it looks moderately presentable, and best of all it's completely untoppleable (is that a word?) #heathrobinson#neverthrowanythingaway #storagesolutions
My friend told me this trick with our clothes when we were in college. This chair had some major pillage. (Sp?). I just took a cheap disposable razor and got rid of majority of it and this chair feels new! Disclaimer: you need to be careful! I've also heard that if this happens often the fabric will eventually get worn out and tear.
