Summer is fantastic for getting the kids outdoors and not having to worry about layers of clothing. ☀️💕🙌🏻 The only issue for me is that my hay fever 🌾 goes crazy, which results in streaming eyes, mixed with suncream it’s pretty harsh to my skin! 😳🙄 To be honest the suncream is just as bad, I’m still looking for one that doesn’t irritate my skin and dry it out. 🤷🏼‍♀️🙈 At least I don’t have any worries when it comes to my clothing. 👍🏻 The Neutral 0% laundry detergent is 0% fragrance and colourant free, so I can just concentrate on getting the hay fever under control. 🙌🏻 If you’re interested in trying Neutral 0%, the range is available from Sainsbury's, Ocado and Amazon. **SENSITIVE** I was one of those "sensitive" children. You know the ones, they seem to get a rash if they so much as look at a field of grass! If I drank a glass of a certain brand of orange juice I ended up with hives. The first time my sensitive skin really impacted my life was when I was a teenager (swipe to see 15 year old me) experimenting with makeup. Until then the only product I had ever used was my mum's Oil of Ulay as it was called back then, free from and natural products weren't a big thing but my Mum was fabulous and never strayed from her trusty laundry product brand and helped me navigate the horrors of teenage make up experimentation by ensuring that I had good quality hypoallergenic products. Even now certain lipsticks seem to give me cold sores.
Over the years I have learned to stick to products that are free from SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) & are natural-led with no artificial perfumes.
Being pregnant worked wonders for my allergies & sensitivities and I hadn't had a reaction to anything until this last week when something in a takeaway made me have a massive skin reaction. It wasn't pretty & was really uncomfortable. It made me realise just how lucky I was that there are some fabulous products out there for people with allergies & sensitive skin such as Neutral 0%. Neutral 0% has 0% perfumes, 0% colourants and 0% optical brighteners & designed to help reduce the risk of skin allergy reaction & irritation without compromising on performance. We have been using Neutral 0% for all our laundry for over three months now & there is no going back, even though they supplied me with the product when we started working with them I have been buying it ever since. It keeps our clothes clean & gives me peace of mind for my sensitive skin & Maxi's Eczema prone skin & he hasn't suffered from a flare-up since we swapped to it. If you’re interested in trying Neutral 0%, the range is available from Sainsbury's, Ocado & Amazon. To find out more about Neutral 0% visit www.neutralsensitiveskin.com

Whilst I'm not going to be a heat hater (if anything I love it!) but there's no denying that all this outdoor living the past few weeks has meant allergy flare ups for those delicate souls in the family... So, whilst we might still be on a sun cream journey for MM, I know that we are fully covered on the laundry front thanks to the ever gentle @neutral.skin. If you’re interested in trying the products, the range is available from Sainsbury's, Ocado and Amazon. When we first discovered that Dil had allergies it felt completely life changing. The thought of having to learn how to cope with something we’d never even given any thought to previously was incredibly overwhelming. Knowing that from then on allergies would be on my mind every step of the way was a lot to deal with, and for a while it felt incredibly hard and incredibly unfair. But we had no choice but to cope, and I had to pull up my big girl pants and figure it all out for my little baby. Once we got to the bottoms of his allergies all his symptoms resolved and he transformed into the happy little baby he always should’ve been. The one thing that I have always been determined about on this crazy allergy journey was to make sure that allergies never stopped us from doing anything. We might have to give it some more thought, we might have to plan ahead a little, pack some extra snacks and do our own thing, but we always manage it. You find things that work for you, you find things that make it easier and it just becomes a way of life. Products like @neutral.skin laundry products are essential in our house - 0% perfume, 0% colourants and hypoallergenic means we can get comfy in our pjs after a day of adventuring without worrying about skin irritation. These days I am lucky enough to support thousands of mums who are in the position that I was; and I can show them that as overwhelming as it initially feels, allergies don’t have to stop you from anything. I’m absolutely thrilled to be talking at the @allergyfreefromshow this weekend about #breastfeedingwithCMPA, sharing our journey with other parents on a similar path. I’ll be working with @neutral.skin a little more at the show too so go check them out. Their laundry products are currently available from Sainsbury’s, Amazon & Ocado. Chores can be a (wait for it....) chore.
.
Ok now that I've got THAT out of the way, let me get back to something else I love to do - Moan about laundry. Why? well I'll tell you why - it's never ending. As long as you're alive, you'll need laundry done. You dare take a break & it'll all get on top of you, literally. Then, throughout the next few days you'll do more loading than an old YouTube video on dial up just to make up for that one day you took off! @hilaryavamay tries to chip in too, but as you can see, the laundry gets the better of her too! Ava however just finds all of this hilarious... I really can't wait till we're old and she has to do OUR laundry
.
Anyways, It's a good job our @neutral.skin Neutral 0% detergent has no unwanted additives such as colourants or perfumes, as Ava's skin is super precious & so is mamas. Besides, I think I'm already a bit of an irritation in the household so let's keep it at that!

Does your kiddo have a favourite softie? Mabli’s in ‘dog dog’ 🐕 (original I know) and it comes everywhere with us. At night she sleeps holding this blanket and dog dog squished against her face. .
.
As such having a washing liquid thats made for sensitive skin is a must for us. As well as being able to use it on Wilf’s uniform which used to leave him with a rash where it rubbed his back. @neutral.skin is designed specially for sensitive skin with 0% fragrance and 0% colourants. Do your kids have a favourite softie they can’t live without? #Ad

Hands up if you enjoy doing the laundry....?
.
That's a bit of a trick question isn't it? I mean who in their right minds would enjoy spending half the day looking for that odd sock, only to then realise it was never in the wash in the first place! Then you go ahead & wash that odd sock, but by the time it's washed, you forgot where the original one was! Honestly, socks are the bane of my life! I have a section in my drawer for odd socks, please say it's not just me?
.
Anyways, with the sheer volume of clothes that this one little tiny weenie person goes through & the amount of walking, crawling (yes, she's started to crawl again? what's that about?!) & unwanted climbing that Ava does, it's important that she can move freely & irritation-free in her clothes... Her MOUNTAIN of clothes!! Now with @neutral.skin's specially formulated detergent for sensitive skin - Neutral 0%, she has the freedom to be that tearaway toddler without her detergent stopping her - It's just me that stops her now! Seriously though, there's nothing worse than seeing her skin flare up so we really are trying all we can!

Me and my girls suffer with sensitive skin – so I’m extra careful about the products that I use which will come into contact with our skin. It is Allergy Awareness Week this week so I wanted to share with you one of my favourite products that help with our sensitive skin – the Neutral 0% laundry detergent range. I know from my own personal experience that certain laundry products and detergents can irritate my sensitive skin. The @neutral.skin range is endorsed by Allergy UK, contains 0% perfumes, colourants and optical brighteners and is designed to help reduce the risk of skin allergies and irritation. We’ve used this for quite some time now and we love the freedom it gives us from skin sensitivities. #NeutralSensitiveSkin #AD #AllergyAwarenessWeek

Argh! Does the laundry ever end?! 🤦🏼‍♀️
I'm trying to get through all the washing from our weekend away ✈️, but I feel like I'm swimming in dirty laundry! 🙈
At least I know that our clothes aren't going to irritate me as much as the full laundry baskets. 🤷🏼‍♀️🙄
We've been using Neutral 0%, so called because it has 0% colourants and 0% perfumes and has been hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. 👍🏻 It's even been awarded the Allergy UK Seal of Approval, so I know my eczema is not going to be affected whilst doing the (constant!) family washing. 👏🏻🙌🏻
This week is allergy awareness week and as so many people I know have allergies, it's great to be able to recommend products that can help them lead a less stressful life. 😊💜
Thanks @neutral.skin skin for making life easier for us sensitive skin folk! 👍🏻👏🏻

GIVEAWAY - We're all excited to see the back of the snow, but we have a couple of sensitive souls in our house who don't take kindly to some of the best things that come with the sun... Such as suncream and the dreaded grass cuttings. It's Allergy Awareness Week and if you also suffer from skin irritations as a result, you will appreciate the rituals that go with it.  From MM we are at the start of our suncream journey and yet to find one that don't make her break out (any suggestions?) and for Scott well, he has to cover himself head to toe before embarking on the grass cutting... Complete with goggles! We're trying out @neutral.skin detergent and fabric softner, which is not only 0% in both perfume and colour, but is hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested and even rubber stamped by the lovely people at Netmums and carries the Allergy UK seal of Approval.

Allergies are something I think about all of the time. Everything Dil eats - I scour the ingredients list looking for red flags. Every place we visit - I scan for potential allergens and dangers as we enter the room. Every red mark, spot or scratch on his body - I analyse, wondering if it’s a reaction to something around us. If you have a child with allergies or sensitive skin you know what I mean, you know the certain level of stress you feel constantly and how ‘on edge’ you always are. Ready to act, ready to protect. This week is Allergy Awareness week, and I’ve teamed up with @neutral.skin to talk about saying yes to the things that really matter by saying no to the things we don’t actually need. Neutral 0% is helping put parent’s minds at ease by saying no to things like perfume, colourants and parabens; therefore helping to reduce the risk of skin allergic reactions and irritation. The Neutral 0% laundry products are hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested, and they’ve all received the Allergy UK Seal of Approval plus are recommended by Netmums. That means fresh clean clothes for the whole family, perfectly safe for even the most delicate skin and less worries for you and me. *WIN* For a chance of winning a trio of Neutral 0% laundry care products to try for yourself just share your skin story below with the hashtags #NeutralSensitiveSkin and #AllergyAwarenessWeek and tag a friend who might like to win too. We are an allergy family. All three of my precious babies have various aversions to food, medicines and materials. We also live with sensitive skin, with all 3 having eczema to some degree.
I did the worst thing the other month - bought the wrong washing powder! 🙈
Not fun I can tell you!!
This week is Allergy Awareness week and I wanted to share a product that we have been using successfully - no itching or redness at all 🙌🏻.
Neutral 0% is fragrance and colourant free and best of all - it is endorsed by Allergy UK!
Nothing worse than having to check labels all of the time as an allergy parent, worrying about reactions and upset children. Now at least my washing is one less thing to worry about (besides the volume of it 🙈🙈🙈🙈). Do you have anyone with sensitive skin or allergies? Share your stories below and help others to realise that this is our normal.

**COPING WITH CHILDHOOD ECZEMA** As part of #AllergyAwarenessWeek, I am sharing my top tips that help maxi cope with his eczema. It often feels like we have just got it under control and POW we are going through another flare up, this time due to hormones and the change in the weather. I would love to know what you do to help your children if they suffer? How do you cope?
I also have a fab giveaway for Neutral 0% laundry products (link in profile) #Ad  #NeutralSensitiveSkin

I got asked to try a new product by @neutral.skin, a 0% sensitive skin washing up liquid. Whilst in our house we don’t do that much washing up (thank goodness for a dishwasher) we do still end up doing a least a sink full each week. I hate having dry hands after but using any cleaning products as I suffer so badly, but this doesn’t have that problem - definitely top of my list! #ad #neutralskin #neutralsensitiveskin #washingupliquid #chores #momlife #blogger

Washing and nappy changing have got my hands all kind of prickly. I have always suffered from dry skin but the 4390 nappy changes and pot washing have made my eczema worse so I am up for trying anything! I even had to swap my wedding rings to my other hand it got so bad. So when Neutral 0% sent over this I was very happy. So far, this has been next to my kitchen sink and has been making my hands feel less like sandpaper and far more comfortable. Who knows, I might be able to put my wedding rings back on soon. See link in bio for more information on @neutral.skin and use NEUTRAL10 for 10% off for the next week.
Also, well done to @gilly_barron and @bigknicksrus who have each won £25 to spend on Neutral 0% goodies. # ad #sensitive #sensitiveskin #skincare #neutralsensitiveskin
