Iridology is so beautiful! 👁 What is iridology you ask? It’s the art of analysing the iris. The iris is connected to every organ and tissue via the brain and nervous system, revealing information about a person’s overall health, tendencies and constitution. You might start to see me gazing into your eyes more often (or maybe it’s intense concentration of the conversation ✨), or test me to suss our what’s going on in your eyes. These irises pictured here are a mixture of brown and blue, in fact there is no such thing as a green iris in iridology, only mixed, as it’s due to a discolouration or yellow patches in a blue or brown iris ⚡️✨#iridology .

We have all the wisdom we need to live well within us we just need to know how to listen , how to let go of what no longer serves us and to align with a belief system that serves us well...the rest will come to us when we come out of the mind and make the right gut, brain connection. Your body is listening to everything you think and everything you do and when you consider it is the only ‘person’ who is by our side all of our lives we would be wise to be good friends because if we ignore it, like a toddler it will scream.
As humans we have learnt to take many things for granted and our health and wellbeing is something we just expect to come along for the ride without complaint and without doing any ‘maintenance’... ok philosophy if we are friends not so good if it’s our ‘slave’ especially as we learn about epigenetics and the power of energy.
Know your body but know your own mind, process life and be honest with yourself, know you are doing your best with what you know now and when you know better you can do better.... and when life throws you curve balls know who and what to reach out to in order to help your body process what is.... and perhaps most importantly know that what you refuse to process will bite you or future generations on the bum later and the longer we leave it the bigger the snowball.
Know your heritage, align with your own belief system, eat well and exercise but always have a regulated nervous system because when you do you will learn that you can always live your life to the full and stay well for longer whilst whilst having the foundations to never fear the wind. It’s important because you are. It is mind over matter but a good gut brain connection requires plenty of heart and soul.

BODYWEIGHT SHOULDER DRILLS

🙋🏻‍♂️The shoulder can get overly complex, but the goal of this post is to keep it simple. There are a ton of exercises we can perform, utilizing a variety of equipment (bands, weights, barbells, cable, etc), but here are a few drills I like to perform using only bodyweight:
.
1️⃣ Prone swimmers. This drill can be deceivingly challenging, as we fight against gravity to keep our arms above the ground. Try and keep your arms as high above the ground as you can and elbows straight (think about reaching finger tips away from you). If you have trouble on the ground you can do this on a bench, or if this is too easy, hold some light weights <5lbs. No need to go too heavy here, as you ability to move a lot of weight won’t impress anybody.

2️⃣ Downdog toe tap. We get the shoulder into full flexion overhead (working on serratus) and some thoracic spine movement too. Additional bonus is showing some love to the posterior chain (hamstrings, calves).
.
3️⃣ Bear roll. You can’t work on overall shoulder health and not include thoracic spine drills. This beautiful dance move targets the thoracic spine and closed chain shoulder stability at the same time.

Some of you may know I have some wonky issues with my nervous system. I "woke up" Sunday morning and started having tremors in my right hand. By Sunday afternoon they had turned into full body tremors. This lasted until just this afternoon. I had made a doctor's appointment but wasn't hopeful. She wanted to put me on a drug that would basically knock me out. This drug is used in anaesthesia and one of it's side effects....tremors 🤔. I knew this wasn't my answer. I went and picked up "emergency reishi" then called my chiropractor. I am not trying to say it's for everyone, but my mind is personally blown once again by these mushrooms. I took two reishi capsules in the parking lot and headed to the chiropractor. About 15 minutes into my ride, the tremors completely stopped. I arrived at the chiropractor completely calm and without tremors! I am so incredibly grateful for mushrooms, Paul Stamets, intuition and my amazing Chiropractor!
