Some people cringe at the thought of using technology for meditation and mindfulness. I, on the other hand, jump for joy!
When I didn’t have the money to travel to practice with my teachers, when I’d work several jobs to save money to go on retreat and seemingly had no free time, when I didn’t feel completely comfortable in the hugely white dominant spaces - quality guidance was always at my fingertips.
So for all the peeps who don’t feel welcome in practice spaces, can’t get up the stairs to your meditation class, don’t have the money to attend, or can’t seem to fit a class in between your children, school, job, partner, family, I will continue to explore how mindfulness and technology meet in supportive ways.
One immediate possibility: @neomeditationapp. With the direction of highly talented artists, we have created a one-of-a-kind app that encourages you to #travelyourmind.
