On this #ToastTuesday, I’m raising a glass to Ashley Christensen and her amazing restaurants. I tried Poole’s, her OG establishment, over the weekend, and it lived up to the hype! Everything was delicious, but this mushroom toast on croissant bread featuring mushroom duxelle and a poached egg was phenomenal!
Mondays always call for extra caffeine, but is it ok for me to swap one of these delicious earl grey cupcakes for my usual cup of tea? I’m so proud of my former student who made these sweet treats and is selling them at one of my favorite Carrboro coffee shops!
