Following a visit to the Space Needle, I made my way over to @cactusrestaurants located underneath the Amazon building to visit @mr.berringer at work. It's always interesting to see the slight differences in how a person is professionally versus personally, and funny how much of the humor translates over.
I have a problem when it comes to short rib tacos on menus: I will almost always sign up for them immediately. These were solid, as were the sides, and the bartender did a great job on the jalapeño margarita.
Upper right is some Navajo fry bread, which was tasty, but familiar in a way I couldn't place. Not quite what I expected, as the fry bread I've had before was at Native American pow wows in Southern California, and heavily based in cornmeal. Still, everything is way better than you'd expect for Mexican food in a northern state.
