Sometimes you just have to take a break, come back refreshed and recharged, and appreciate all the good things in your life. One of those places where I found my peace was at the Grand Canyon….. again. Earlier this year I had the opportunity to check off my bucket list by taking a helicopter ride into the Grand Canyon and having a 30 minute picnic and photo session. I never thought I would go back so soon, but this time I took the 10 hour bus tour to the West Rim and viewed the Canyon from above in all it’s pristine glory. It is definitely one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen and it never gets old. It is called the Grand Canyon for a reason and staring from above truly makes you marvel at how magnificent our planet is and tempts me to visit other natural wonders of the world. But since I’m a foodie at heart I also need my delicious meals and Las Vegas certainly has tons of that. It’s pretty much a full day(6am pickup and 530pm drop off) if you’re planning on taking the bus tour but it’s worth it if you’ve never seen if before or if you’re a nature lover like me. I definitely plan on going back to Vegas, because there are just too many fun things to do, but I probably won’t be going back to the Canyon for a while since I already went twice this year.
