I think #subtle is my favourite word. Can you tell?! Kicking off this #springmani series with my favourite #negativespace #manicure shape and a lovely, soft, natural pink from @zoyanailpolish - the colour is Bela.
I think subtlety is important as we head into #spring - it's easy to go OTT with the promise of warmer weather; sometimes departing from your #personalstyle in a sort of well meaning but overzealous spring cleaning kind of overhaul. Not I! For this spring edit I'll be staying true to my style while incorporating some #springvibes.
So - Zoya! I haven't done a review in a while. I am a creature of habit and found some favs, what can I say.
How free: #5free
Performance: it was an easy, smooth application, two coats gave a very nice finish - a sort of milky pink. HOWEVER- it really does just seem like a standard 5 free polish just the same as, e.g. @deborahlippmann. Nothing wrong with that, particularly if you're happy with 5 free, but Zoya's claim of being the world's longest wearing natural nail polish seems a bit dubious to me, not least because 5 free isn't (in my humble opinion) particularly natural, even though it's better than 3 or no free. It looks like their new #naturel3 collection is 10 free, but when I investigated further on the website for the details on individual polishes it says 5 free - maybe @zoyanailpolish can clear that up?! Otherwise, like I said, it's a lovely polish and at 5 free does (just) pass muster. I'm certainly enjoying wearing it, but not sure I'll be yanked away from my favs. 3.5/5.
