People who follow my fitness journey are probably already aware that I don't take any commercial fat burners. However, I am a huge fan of spices. Spices are great for fat loss, disease prevention, and general well being. In fact, many Asian countries have been using spices to cure illnesses and improve general health. My favourite spices are: 🔺Cayenne pepper: I add it to a glass of lemon infused water every morning 🍋. It boosts your metabolism, helps to detoxify your body, reduces hunger, may lower blood pressure, aids digestive health, and may reduce the risk of certain cancers. Moreover, it can reduce pain and help people who suffer from Psoriasis. 🔺Cinnamon: I add it to my oats, protein pancakes and muffins. Cinnamon may lower cholesterol levels. It is full of antioxidants and reduces systemic and specific inflammation in a body. It has antifungal, antibacterial, and even antiviral properties. Furthermore, Cinnamon may help treat Type 2 diabetes. 🔺Ginger & Turmeric: I use ginger in my cooking and drink turmeric/ginger/lemon tea. It may improve the digestion and cardiovascular health. It may fight inflammation and may reduce cold/flu symptoms and reduce the pain. 🔺Chilli: Promotes weight loss by increasing metabolism. Boosts immune system and may help prevent cancer. Improves heart health and longevity. It also has anti fungal properties.
