Loading up on healthy fats lots of greens and protein has really helped keep inflammation down.
I’m not following any “diet” I guess you could label it ketoish but I am mainly staying away from gluten and sugar and most dairy.
I’ve found a huge source of help in draining my lymph system by adding in exogenous ketones daily.
I am working on leptin resistance right now as leptin is disrupted by Lyme. And is mostly likely one of the key things that lead to such a fast weight gain in the past 7 months as well as no matter what I do the scale doesn’t move.
Leptin is a protein produced by fatty tissue and believed to regulate fat storage in the body.

In combination with its running mate ghrelin which is a peptide hormone, produced predominantly in the stomach, that stimulates the secretion of growth hormone from the pituitary gland and increases appetite.

So you’ve got one hormone that’s being attacked to increase the resistance of fat loss and the other that’s the addict saying EAT MORE.
Working on a number of things and truly educating myself on healing holistically.

As I learn more I will be sharing my journey.
It feels so much better being able to be open about this.

Insomnia has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember but sleepless/restless nights have been happening too frequently which leads to less healing and a miserable Lauren let’s be real.
I’ve taken to really create a calm space in my bedroom.

We got new flooring in our room and I took it then to figure out how I wanted it to feel.
I rearranged my room to create a more calming environment, almost hotel like, simple decor, removed all clutter, make my bed everyday, keep it organized which for me was all laundry put away everyday not baskets and piles waiting to be rifled thru.
I invested in some really comfy pillows, soft sheets and quilt. I needed a space that was an escape and totally relaxing.
Along with establishing a nightly routine of epsom salt baths, diffusing essential oils, energy healing crystals and keeping hydrated thru the night when I wake up a bunch of times.
It’s been almost 2 weeks of this and
I find myself a little more rested but certainly calmer less anxious and certainly more settled.
Trying new things to create a more productive healing environment in every way I can.

Make a pillow spray together and tell him he can use it anytime before bed and even spray his favorite bear that he sleeps with .
