OATS DATES MILKSHAKES

A great morning drink to boost your energy by natural ingredients and simple too ❤️ .

1 cup of old fashioned oats
1 cup of almond/any choices of milk
3-4 pieces of fresh seedless dates

Mix oats with milk and fridge overnight
Soak dates in water overnight
Blend both in the morning n your drink is ready..
P/S : can add almond, cinnamon, yogurt as optional

4 INGREDIENT PEANUT BUTTER BALLS 🤤 I made these on Saturday for the healthy snacks workshop and Tom insisted he has them for his Lunchbox this week 😉 since he thinks they are THAT good I figured you guys would too! Because honestly Tom is my biggest food critic. So here is the recipe:
- 10 medjool dates (pitted)
- 1/2 cup @paleohero muesli or any nuts/seeds/muesli mixture
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/3 cup natural peanut butter
Add all ingredients to the food processor, process until combined, roll and consume!
Store in the fridge for 2 weeks or the freezer for a few months 💃🏽 try not to eat 47 000 at once - Tom has eaten 5 whilst I’ve typed this 🙄 ... anyway I’ll make sure I get this recipe up on the website ASAP but for now you guys get the gist.

Dry fast complete.
I broke the dry fast at 37 hours with a cup of hot water, followed by a coconut an hour later, watermelon is in season, so they are so sweet & juicy.
Coconuts were fresh & tasty, tasted like they've been picked less than a few days ago & imported straight from Thailand.
Didn't finish everything on the plate, saving the mango for lunch, was already full after the watermelon & cherimoya, just about squeezed the papaya in.
Will eat the coconut flesh this evening for dinner with some yam, chickpeas, salad, hummus.

На днях, дочитав книгу Кемпбелла «Китайское исследование», вдохновилась мыслью о том, что пора наконец-то упорядочить своё питание. Меня часто посещала эта идея ещё в беременность, но соблазн 🍰🍫был слишком велик, да и внутренний голосок вечно нашептывал «да ладно, съешь эту очередную шоколадку, все равно потом худеть»👹Поэтому с понедельника, то есть с сегодня😅, объявила самой себе челендж - две недели без добавленного сахара и мяса. ⠀
Несколько лет назад у меня уже был опыт вегетарианства (около полугода), и я до сих пор помню это удивительное чувство лёгкости, способность отслеживать в каком состоянии сейчас находится мой организм и радость от того, что ты сама, а не твой голодный желудок, решаешь что есть, а что нет. ⠀
С появлением малыша я снова чувствую внутри себя потребность здоровых изменений (весна же все-таки☺️)
Цели похудеть не стоит, но, надеюсь, будет приятным бонусом😂 ⠀
Итак, чего же я жду от себя:
♦️упорядочить пищевые привычки: перекусы, время и порядок приема пищи (❌ ночным набегам на холодильник и «заедания» супа пироженкой)
♦️избавиться от тяги к сахару и сладкому ♦️научиться готовить осознанно и с любовью, а не пельмени на автомате😅
♦️вернуть любовь к готовке (хотя бы частично😖)
♦️ну и, конечно, не ограничиться двумя неделями

Буду делиться своими результатами, наблюдениями и рецептами (максимально простыми и быстрыми, с ребёнком по другому пока только такими😃) под тегом

The difficult part is to wait until it is finished and cooled down. How many times have I burned my tongue when tasting something that was just out of the oven. I think I lost counting haha.
