It's that time of year when I love to play with eggs and natural dyes. Although they take longer than Comercial easter egg dye the natural dyes are fun to experiment with and are best of all totally chemical free! And you get some amazing beautiful colours! Here's a handy chart with some of my recipes. Most of the food dyes need to be boiled to get an intense color, then I let them cool and pack eggs, liquid and food parts all into Mason jars and leave at least overnight in the fridge. Sometimes I will just cook the eggs in the dyes let them cool and then put it all in the fridge. There isn't a wrong way, it's all about experimentation! Hope this inspires your own egg adventures! Happy Easter and Happy Good Friday!
