I was lucky enough to meet many giant (and baby) Galapagos Tortoises whilst visiting the islands last month. They're the most amazing creatures; still surviving and living today after nearly reaching extinction, thanks to strict protection control from the Galapagos National Park and controlled breeding at the Charles Darwin Research station.
I was so enamoured by their babies and the big prehistoric adults that I decided to adopt 2 babies. Unfortunately they don't get to come live with me back in Byron, but I know they'll be fed and looked after by the guys at the research station, because I saw their caring work myself. Divine Dreadlocks donates to help animals and natural ecosystems in need each year, so if you've bought a course this year, thanks for your support in helping these majestic animals! ⠀
