Can't wait to hit the stage again in 2018! Looking at 2 shows this year but later in the year to allow myself the time to grow! Although I'm nationally qualified my coach and I want to focus on making me nationally ready which means more stage time, more posing practise and more growth! My goal for this year is to beat this girl and get ready to bring our national package in 2019! I will be competing naturally again and will also be taking my natural package to the open stage as well! Well everyone else is starting their cuts for the first couple shows I'll be sitting over here staying 'fluffy' for a little while more!

Adductor Longus⠀

Ouch!!⠀
Just got a sharp pain from sprinting on my inner thigh.⠀
Crap, there is some bruising.⠀
Pulled my groin muscle again.⠀

Adductor longus injury is commonly known as a strain groin because it’s apart of those inner thigh hip muscles.⠀

This injury is a result of weak adductor muscles as well as hamstring muscles.⠀

Self rehab is fairly simple with some time and patience.⠀

> Apply P.R.I.C.E method⠀
o Protect the area from more injury by reducing adductor movement (groin brace)⠀
o Rest adductor to reduce further damage (no activity days 1-5)⠀
o Ice adductor to reduce pain (days 1-3; 30 min intervals every 3-4 hours or until no pain is felt)⠀
o Compression to reduce inflammation (compression shorts or beliefs)⠀
o Elevation to improve blood flood to promote healing and recovery⠀
> P.R.I.C.E method during Days 1-5⠀
> Days 6-10, start with massages and light stretches⠀
> Days 8-14, add strengthen exercises to accompany light stretches with massages⠀
> Days 14-21, add functional movements along with strengthen, and stretches⠀
