NAS - NASIR
One of the most known and respected rappers ever, drops an album under the Kanye "7 song" regime. Nas has been saying his album is done since 2016 so this was of course one of the most anticipated albums of the year, and even though it is just 7 songs long, Nas delivers. As always, with Nas, we get conscious rap but in a very clever and creative way. With production handled by Kanye West, we were of course expecting an "all killer no filler", and we technically got that... considering all of the tracks are decent or great imo, I don't consider this a flop at all, but of course we were expecting more bangers. But it is a really good album despite all that.
Best tracks - Cops Shot The Kid, everything, Adam & Eve, Not For Radio, White Label, Simple Things
Worst track - Bonjour (if I had to choose)
