People often forget they are the authors of their own lives. We are customed to perceive ourselves mainly in terms of internal characteristics and less of intentional traits. This is why we believe that our problems are "inside us" and symbolise an "inner truth" about ourselves.
But what if problems were part of narratives we use to describe our life. Could we then find a solution to lead a life that is problem-free and in sync with our individual beliefs, values, aspirations and knowledge about life?

Maybe you grew up believing you needed to earn love. Or maybe perfection meant safety, or a semblance of it. Maybe, you thought life has to fit in a tight box or it doesn’t count. . Here’s what I want you to know: You don’t have to keep living that story. . You are not married to it. . You can re-write the script you were given. So breathe. Start with the first moment. See what happens when you give yourself permission to be imperfect, but loveable. . . . . #becomingthebeloved#beloved#becomingwhole#mentalhealth#rewrite#wholeness#abide#bestill
This speaks my heart out and what we believe in ❤ thank you @rupikaur_ "When i think of the ancestors. i think of each person in the lineage who had to live and survive for me to be here today. how all of them are inside me. how that makes me powerful. and capable. and an empire of infinite inner strength. Ummeed's Community Mental Health Training Program 3 batch graduated from their year-long program of exploring narrative ideas while working with diverse communities. The ceremony was celebratory of their journey with narrative ideas, the support they continue to extend to each other, while reminiscing of the laughter, tears, memories and the stories they come with. The community workers continue to remain an inspiration for creating a space that is about respecting and honoring diversity!
