One of the best experiences in our recent trip to Naran was rafting in kunhaar river. 🌊
.
.
We were four and it was the first time for all of us. First of all, the guide gave us jackets and helmets. He told us that we can't wear shoes during rafting because of the river water that usually comes inside the boat, so we took them off. He instructed us to sat on the sides of the boat (which seems scary) and taught us how to use our oars to row the boat 🚣🏼. #learningmoment πŸ€”
.
.
I was excited and scared at the same time. The cold water of the river was already inside the boat making our feet numb. The guide was at the end of the boat steering and controlling it from behind meanwhile instructing us when to drive forward, backward and stop the oars. #scarymoment 😬
.
.
In the start it seems hard to use the oars in the fast running water but it became easy after doing two three times. Where the water pressure is high due to big rocks, water splashed on us making us wet with its freezing water. Slowly our fear ran away and we started enjoying the ride. Up and down in the water, the boat travelled around 1.5 to 2 km and then we directed our boat towards the side bank of the river. #happymoment 😎
.
.
As we reached quite away from our starting point and our shoes and car were there, they took us back on a suzuki. #funnymoment πŸ˜‚
.
.
Overall we enjoyed this rafting adventure very much. And I would definitely recommend it to anyone who like adventures and want to try something new other than just sightseeing. πŸ‘€

Kids should never be the reason for not traveling and if you will keep waiting for that 'perfect time' it will never come. And thats why we decided to go on a family vacation to northern areas on our this visit to Pakistan.
Alhumdulilah Nael remain safe and sound throughout. These were some things that help me made this trip successful with a three month old in cold weather.
1. I packed a lots of layers for nael which I added or removed as required during the journey.
2. We stopped more frequently to take rest atleast after every 4 hrs.
3. We started our journey in night so nael slept all the way till shongran, our first stay (8-9 hrs journey) you can adjust according to your baby sleep schedule
4. Luckily we had our family with us so wherever the temperature was very low like babusar top and lake saif ul muluk one of us (mostly his grandparents) kept him inside the car or jeep.
5. We took an electric kettle with us to warm water for feeder (bonus: boiled his soother too) Also kettle can be used for making tea. .
.
P.s Pack medicines just in case ( calpol, adol, ear drops etc)
P.s.s Our trip was for 5 days
