Conformity - the idea that you should play out the role you were designed for - affects everyone, whether you are 'smart' or 'dumb'; 'kind' or 'nasty'; 'loud' or 'quiet'. The world will place you exactly where it wants you in the categories of its mind's eye, and sometimes we feel that it is easier to stay there and embrace these simplified versions of ourselves.
The single adjective labels we are given will never be enough to summarise the complexity that is a human mind. These words define an individual action, not a person as a whole. In truth, we are all smart, and dumb, and kind, and nasty, and loud, and quiet. -
Please, don't allow the names that the world calls to limit the way you see yourself, or to prohibit you from becoming the person you want to be.
