Our #WomanCrush is none other than the beautiful founder of #bellafricanaverified @namasteorganics proudly #MadeinNigeria
Lolade is a graduate of International Politics from the London Guildhall University.
She is a classic kickass #mumpreneur (cc @mofolusade) a self-confessed "tree hugger” and a hard worker in the health and beauty field.
@namasteorganics was born in 2009 as a ‘desperate measure’ to find an organic solution to her sons various skin ailments.
She was advised by a pharmacist to try Shea butter; ironically Lolade made Shea butter cream already as she was taught by her grandmother, but hadn’t thought of using it to treat her son’s condition. .
Namaste which is "respectful greeting" in India is Lolades way of welcoming her customers to her world of organic beauty. . “I believe the uniqueness of our brand comes from the simplicity of our ingredients by keeping the list short. We also try as much as possible to use locally sourced key ingredients, containers and branding and also to keep our products as natural as possible,” Lolade says.
We are absolutely proud to have this lovely tenacious lady on our network of creative afrocentric businesses. In a world that's becoming vastly over saturated with organic health and beauty products, its not a small feat to stay at the top and for this we say Well Done.
