Before I got to Japan, I knew I really wanted to visit Matsumoto Castle. I had seen many photos where photographers were able to capture the castles reflection from the connecting lake (or is it a moat?) - Ensuring I'd miss the crowd of tourists, I got up early, caught the first train and had started to set up in front of the castle, only for it to rain shortly after.
Conditions did not allow me to get the reflections I had envisioned. So I had to get creative. I knew I wanted to get a reflection of some sort.
Walking around the castle, I noticed the rain had left some puddles, and in those puddles, I saw reflections. A few crouching tiger moves later, I was snapping away. .
TL:DR = Here's a photo of Matsumoto Castle and it's reflection from puddles caused by the damn rain.
