❤️Love this exercise for single leg strength, but there are a lot of factors to consider about setup. The main one's are how tall you are, how long your legs are and what height the box is.

All 3 foot positions are fine it just depends what you want. Foot in close is more quad dominant(might cause knee pain in some peeps), further out is more glutes, middle is a mix.

The most common mistakes are the heel coming up, chest dropping or doing half reps. You'd be better off using a lower bench/box/step and getting full range, then you can gradually build the height/weight.

🌈You'll need to play around with bench/box height to figure out what suits your body length/mobility & allows you to get full range.

Stretching is for everyone regardless of age or indeed how active you are. We always associate stretching with exercise but it can be performed daily in isolation and this alone will be of benefit especially to the older population. .
Dynamic stretching is best performed pre exercise - where you take your body through active movements. .
Static stretching is best performed post exercise - where you hold a stretch position for 30-60 seconds. .
