Was dreading having to train alone this week but after coaching classes this am I just changed my mindset and thought to myself how lucky I was to be able to train and the rest was easy. Benching and hip thrusts were the mains on the menu today.

Decided to add in a little practice on handstand walking between sets to keep things interesting, lots of work to be done 🙈 one day I will master it 😝 I’ve said it now so no going back now 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️

A heavy session yesterday with @colin_dempseypt which included sets of trap bar deadlifts (video is last set of 130kgs x 6 reps)

We included some single leg eccentric hamstring work, weighted Jefferson curls, and KB deadlift as a part of our warm up. .
Two 🔑 points that help us ensure a good session. .
📍Warm up is just as important as your main lifting and should be taken just as serious. It primes the body for what comes next and will help ensure you get the most out of your session.
.
📍Technique is paramount when your lifting heavy weights, where your form is breaking down, address the issue or if it’s just too heavy reduce the weight. Training is practice to improve, this is not going to happen if you are training a bad movement pattern and will lead to injury. Always quality over quantity.
