Today my children woke me at 5am. Yay - Just want I want when I’m on holidays! 🤦♀️
I decided to take advantage of this extra time in my day, put on my running shoes and took the boys to the beach where I knew there were some nice big sand dunes (and where the kids could make as much noise as they wanted to!). 🏃🏻♀️ Running uphill is an intense activity that activates the entire body. Naturally you think it’s just legs, but uphill running forces you to drive your arms harder which builds upper body strength. 🏃🏻♀️ Uphill running also benefits the heart, lungs, muscles and the skeletal system while also helping with your speed, strength and mental endurance. 🏃🏻♀️ It’s even better when you have your own little personal trainers pushing you along - but don’t stress if they don’t because you can always hire me to do that toI.
