So this may or may not be a tiny Christmas tree. If Mr R asks, it's definitely not. I went to Sainsburys to collect a parcel and do a bit of shopping. Didn't realise that the parcel on question was almost as big as I am, so of course I opted to get that first before I started shopping. I then had to manhandle a massive cardboard box around the store while I shopped - I'm not sure why I didn't get a trolley??! It also seemed like a good idea to buy this tree which is perhaps the heaviest thing in the world. I was struggling out to the car with it all (still no trolley) and must have looked so bad an old lady asked if I needed a hand 😔 Now the old ladies are helping ME! Anyways, some Hooga vibes with my little tree and some candles. #myhousethismonth - Hygge Sunday. Imagine there's a roast dinner there and it's perfect. Need a relaxing day after getting all festive last night 🥂
🎹Upper Crust🎹 #ahouseindays 👸🎹👸🎹👸 In the early 20th century it was considered a sign of prosperity and high standing or status to have a piano in your home. My piano was exactly from that era, it's patent on the harp inside dates 1896. It was a gift to my great grandmother upon the birth of her first son, my grandfather. I learned to play on this piano, well I taught myself as it happened. I play completely by ear despite taking lessons. I didn't retain anything from the lessons and always added more notes than were in the sheet music. I'm a musical maximalist too I guess 👸🎹👸🎹👸🎹👸 This is my offering for today's prompt .
