Today's workout: learning to say 'no' more often. ✋
Every day, the world will drag you by the arm, throwing things your way and telling you they're important. And yeah, sometimes, urgent things happen. There's no avoiding it. But if you spend 100% of your time reacting to what the world makes you believe is important, how will you find time to set boundaries, unplug, and just do you? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A small example. if you follow my Stories, you might notice that I work out 5, sometimes 6 times a week. Sometimes, I legit scrutinize myself about this and wonder if I should be spending that time answering more emails, getting to work earlier, texting my friends back more quickly, or finishing more projects. But ME time is important. YOU time is important. And for everything else in your life that's equally important, you'll find time for that too, even if it means saying 'no' to more things that are currently taking up space. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Be selfish with your time. No isn't a bad word. And sometimes, saying 'no' to something is really just you saying 'yes' to something that might serve you better.
