I've decided to take a few weeks off. I've been dieting and prepping for 22 weeks and I need a little break (mentally and physically). I'm not going to go crazy but I'm not going to count calories or force workouts for a couple weeks. Then I'll get back into prep for North Americans! πŸ’ͺ

Competing in anything can exhausting; additionally putting yourself on stage to be judged by strangers on everything you've worked to achieve is exhausting! I need a couple weeks to play, eat, enjoy exercising and cooking and just spend time with my husband and pup and friends. I need to spend time praying and reading and getting my mind set in the right direction. I won't be strict with anything but I am going to focus on consistency and health to maintain my current physique.

I have 10 weeks to play with new skills and maybe even add a little muscle mass. My goal is to bring a longer and harder routine AND a tighter physique to the next competition.

I also have 10 weeks to fundraise for this competition... This sport is really expensive!! So if you're interested in helping me get to Pittsburgh keep your eyes peeled; I've got some ideas in the works for fundraising projects 😏

General Warm-up
1. Sprints 0:20/0:20 x 8 rounds
2. Roman Chair Squats (or sissy squats) x 50 reps
3. Superset:
A. Back Squats 10 x 10
B. Jump Squats 10 x 10
**Rest after jumps ~1-1:30
4. Leg Extensions 4 x 10 (0:30 rest)
5. Leg Curl 4 x 10 (0:30 rest)

I finished with LISS Cardio and stretching to loosen things up because I had a crazy pump--my legs were like balloons!

Having patience is so hard for me, especially when it comes to training and body building and not seeing the results I want when I want them πŸ˜‰This comparison shows me that the key is have patience while also being persistent and consistent in the training routine. Right ➑ is November 2015 and Left β¬… is April 2016, a week ago. Yeah I know what your thinking, "that took her 6 months, what took her so long?!", well only being able to train 3 times a week is rough to say the least (πŸ†˜), but if that's what I've been able to accomplish, though it may not be much, I am proud of it.. Boulder shoulders here I come πŸ‘ŒπŸ’ͺ And before some of you say, "ew her shoulders are getting too big", I want to point out that in both pictures I'm flexed and have my shoulders back with good posture, so HA! πŸ˜†

I have a dream to live in world without hate and judgment. A world full of acceptance and love. No matter the size/race/gender/religion/origin and just over all self. I want you to love me just like I love you, without any vision. It's hard to love yourself for just who you are, let alone love someone else for who they are. I have come to love myself and to not be scared of my skin. I hope to one day step out of my home with out one feeling of self disgrace no matter how many stretch marks, no matter how long the armpit hair, no matter how free the nipples are...I love my skin and I'm happy to wear it with a big smile.
