My health and fitness goals have never ever been about having a thin waist or an aesthetic six pack, I’ve only ever wanted to feel good, be strong, and look muscly.
There’s something so empowering about being able to move volume the same as, double, and even triple your body weight.
There’s something so addictive about growing into different body shapes, fuelling your body with amazing food (so, so, so much food by the way 🤤), and being able to break your mind barriers time and time again.
I’m in the gym for me. Not for you. Or Instagram. Or the girl/guy watching. Or the followers. Or the haters. I’m in the gym to push myself to smash Every. Single. Goal. I have ever set myself. No matter the challenge. No matter how heavy. How hard. How challenging. I’ll beat every record I’ve ever set. I’ll push harder than I’ve ever worked before. I’m in competition with myself. If you’re worried about who’s next to you, tell your mind to shut the fk up and look at your own damn reflection in the mirror. Because that’s your ONLY competition.
