Reminding myself where I came from.
Before pic: I was 490lbs😨😨with a 69 inch waist and 75 inch hips and finally sick and tired of digging my own grave. Tired of being stuck in the house LITERALLY ALL SUMMER, heck for YEARS because I was embarrassed, ashamed and incapable. I suffered with back & joint pain. I had swollen feet and legs which kept me from being able to walk or even stand past 10 minutes. Fast forward to this summer where I spent it on vacation, out and about as much as my little heart desired❀️ confident. Happy. Free. Words I wouldn't have been able to use years ago. life is BEAUTIFUL. We DESERVE to fully enjoy it. Take hold of your life now because tomorrow isn't promised. Use every bit of heart, strength & will you have inside of you and get it done. It hasn't been easy but so far it's been well worth it! For me it all started with just doing what I could for as long as I could. The stronger I got the more I did. I went from doing cardio for about 15 minutes with 10 min weightlifting 3x a week to doing weightlifting 3-4 times a week and getting 20-40 minute cardio in 4-5 days a week. But above all the KEY is and will always be nutrition! As they say, you truly cannot outwork a bad diet. Trust me! So I eliminated my addiction of ordering FAST FOOD 4-5 times a week and instead just prep my own healthy meals! I cut out all the junk food that I loved and ate on a daily! chips, cakes, cookies, soda, icecream, white bread/white pasta, the list can go on and on. I had to get rid of it, it was slowly killing me. I knew what needed to be done. I knew what it took to be successful, so what was I waiting for? It's time to GET IT DONE. So long prediabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, pitting edema and sleep apnea πŸ‘‹πŸ½πŸ‘‹πŸ½πŸ‘‹πŸ½πŸ‘‹πŸ½ my journey isn't over. There's still so much to be done! But I'm reclaiming my health back one day at a time! You got this loves! - photo #2 I just finished my first round of #BBG and felt like a rock star. Those 28 minutes seemed to get less and less brutal and more empowering every time! I was on my way to success - photo #3 I've completed 100+ weeks of BBG and I've created a body I'm proud of. I've learned to treat my body well again and to love it each and every day. - I know this is cheesy but it's real! This is a journey. It's going to take time, it's going to be hard, but I promise you time after time you will surprise yourself. You're capable of defeating that little voice inside your head, so stop being scared, making up excuses and start today!

Ok babes so 6 months ago, I will be completely honest and say that I WAS NOT happy with my bumπŸ˜“ and would get so disappointed because I felt I was working TOO hard and barley saw resultsπŸ˜ͺ 6 months ago, I decided to change my whole workout routine, I stopped doing too much cardio, started eating more, and most importantly I focused more on weight trainingπŸ‹πŸ½β€β™€οΈ Only 6 weeks into my training, bubble booty started to showπŸ‘πŸ€€πŸ˜‚ and as crazy as it sounds to say, i grew the booty that I wanted in just SIX MONTHSπŸ‘πŸ’ͺ😁 this is to say that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE if you put in the right amount of effortπŸ’ͺπŸ‘ Never ever give up babes no matter how hard it may seem at first, and if I can do it YOU CAN as well😽❀️ -

One year ago I decided to make changes to better myself. I wasn't going to take the short cuts anymore and make it a LIFESTYLE. I was so caught up in fad diets to get fit quick and I was always told myself "eh oh well I could always get plastic surgery later" (I'm not against it but I thought I could rely on it).

I always felt sluggish, tired, and holy sh*t I couldn't walk outside during summer time with my thighs chaffing away. It was horrid. Not only that, but I was weak. I had almost ZERO muscle I swear lol.

The first thing to change was MINDSET. I cannot stress the importance of changing your outlook on things. The rest such as confidence, motivation, and physical changes follow after your mindset is right. I get asked all the time how I stay motivated; it's because I actually ENJOY eating what I eat and doing what I do. It had become a part of my every day life. I'm not saying y'all should start lifting weights because not everyone likes to which is fine. There are OTHER activities too!☺️

I have my days where I'm like "eh I don't want to go to the gym" or "I want a fat πŸ” with 🍟 and a milkshake". Which is fine! I want a rest day? I give myself that. I want a burger? I go get one. That's HOW I keep myself consistent. I LET myself do those things WITHOUT punishment. I don't view it as a setback because it's NOT (unless y'all compete lol post show treat πŸ˜πŸ€—). Don't think about it a dead line. That's how your rebound HARD or even crash diet. Don't do it for a "summer body" or an event. Do it for you.πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½" _____________________

Goooooood morning! Back to reality after 4 days of family in town celebrating my mom's 70th Birthday!! I'm not gonna lie... I haven't been low carb since Saturday and won't get back to it until tomorrow. Too many leftovers to get rid of! Today marks the start of my very gradual bulk! πŸ˜‹ I'm right now at 130.8lbs and 20% body fat (according to BMI so who knows). I'm comfortable at this weight but I miss my size from when I was 156lbs so I'm trying out a reverse diet to put on some muscle and (hopefully) little to no fat. -
My first week I'm starting with a ~60kcal increase. I'm bumping up my macros about 5% every week until I notice a change and I'm going to ease back into my workouts since I've been off of the routine for about two weeks now.

My world has changed...It has been hard to get back into a routine of working out, eating right and taking care of myself. As much as I knew I needed it, I just couldn't bring myself to doing it.
This weekend I realized nothing was going to change unless I did. I will never get better by doing what I was doing, I will never get better by doing what I know I can do.
I have to push myself. I have to let go of my excuses and just do the work. I can tell you by getting my mindset right and finally realizing what I had to do, I already feel so much better.
I know I preach this all the time in my posts but sometimes I need a dose of my own medicine and that's what I gave to myself.
So today I began Day 1 of my program. I'm starting fresh with my Sexy September Challenge Group and we are going to SLAY our goals.
It's not to late to join in with us. We have a few days left of September and only 3 months until the end of 2017!!! Let go of your excuses and get started with me. Just message me or comment below and we will get you started ❀️
