Recovery tastes like victory! The last time I picked a barbell to clean & jerk was during my last competition in July last year and I had been avoiding it (more like incapable 😅) until recently. Не выкладываю каждый день фотографии, потому что меню первого месяца повторяется на второй.
Но это овсянка на воде, которую я не люблю, но сегодня она очень вкусная. Спасибо нашему домашнему шеф-повару 💛 так странно, но когда ешь одни белки, овощи и сложные углеводы начинаешь ценить сладкие продукты. Узбекские помидоры кажутся сладкими, как шоколад, а фрукты похожи на мармелад.
Сегодня я таки ем: - 50 гр овсянки,200 грамм фруктов (персики,бананы, апельсины,виноград,груши,яблоки)
- 1 порция бсса
- 150 гр куриных грудок, 50 гр булгура, 200 гр овощного салата
- 200 гр творога, стевия
- 150 гр куриных грудок, 50 гр булгура
- овощной салат с соком лимона, со специями (акцент на черном перце) , 200-400 гр чищенных вареных креветок

This workout kicked my ass! I was scared to start lifting weights, expecting that I wouldn't like it or that it would be too hard for me. But I was completely wrong, lifting has pushed me both physically and mentally and I look forward to that part of my day.

Ughhh!!! The struggle is real!!!! It's been more than a year since I took a break from my fitness journey in order to grow a life and transition from 4 kids to 5! It has been hard! But my body is telling me again that I need to start focusing on losing weight and building strength. Everything hurts and I have no energy at all! It is going to be such a struggle to start but I will do it. I have to do it. For myself and for my family. I am still young and there is a whole lot of life ahead of me that I want to enjoy and I need energy for that. I am so proud of what my body has made, 5 amazing human beings! But I am not so proud of how little it can do now and how much it hurts. I have been telling myself for months that I have to start, but with a newborn and breastfeeding and all of that it just hasn't been a priority. A lot of times I feel terrible when I fall off the wagon. I have to look at old pictures and think about how I felt when I let myself go. Then I take a picture like this to remind myself how far I have come, how amazing I feel, and how I can never go down that dark path again. I am proud of where I have made it to in such a short span of time, but if anything in my life has taught me anything... life is the slow game. You HAVE to listen to your body. When your body is broken and tired, you do not benefit from hurting it more, but you can continue to eat healthy. Changing my diet was the biggest change in my life. Continuing to be conscious of what I eat has enabled me to not gain crazy amounts of weight during this lull in my workouts (btw, I have a shoulder impingement, so I can barely even lift anything or put any kind of pressure on my shoulders.
