Well THAT was a LOOONNNG day. We caught an early train to Bologna where we stored our bags for the day and rode a regional bus to get to the Lamborghini Museum. It was nice to be able to get up close and look at the details on the cars on display; I hadn’t yet seen the Huracan Performante’s ALA system in person until today. We then rode the same bus back to town where we got delicious, hand-made pasta al ragù/Bolognese at Bottega Portici before walking around the center. It was awesome to stop by Roche Bobois to see their BEAUTIFUL furniture as well as a piece of the Roman Road ruins in their basement! And after catching an evening train home to Milan, I introduced Mom to the magic of aperitivo and the Aperol Spritz! #Lamborghini#Bologna#ragu#RocheBobois#aperitivo#AperolSpritz#IanAbroad#myfeethurtnow
Breaking the stereotypes.... most people believe that night shift nurses just sleep...... This is my step count since midnight as I got into my car....... 9,838 to be exact.
No wonder my feet hurt this morning!
Kathak. An ancient, Indian classical dance. Quite intricate. A wee bit complicated. But once you get the basics you're good to go! Plus most bodies can do the steps. Its not like ballet where some moves are impossible to execute cause well...my leg just doesn't stretch that high! So its all bodies friendly! Heres a snippet of counting out a dance with the words. Akin to learning a new language. Its all to do with 16 beats and rhythm! Enjoy!
