What’s better than having 24/7 donuts walking distance from your house?! Not much, except this was our first time at @voodoodoughnut 🙈. 1 apple fritter, 1 Oreo peanut butter drizzle, 1 maple with bacon and 1 Marshall Mathers aka the white frosting full of M & M’s (get it?). Our favvv was the maple bacon, fluffy donut and sweet/salty flavor on top. Excellent. Can’t wait to try more. #intlfoodforeal #denverfoodforeal

I'm Falling 🍁🍂 in love with this 3 ingredient Pumpkin Cake!! So easy. So good.

Ingredients:
1 can pumpkin purée
1 box yellow cake mix
1 T pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg & allspice)
1) heat oven to 350°F
2) mix all ingredients
3) pour into greased cake pan and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. TIP: if you press the cake with your finger ☝️ and it bounces up, it's ready...if it stays indented it is NOT 🙅🏼
5) Cover with homemade caramel (what I did) or cream cheese frosting (or whatever you want you do you!)

A note from the author: There's a note on my dresser that I typed up on October 19, 2016 and framed. The note says "I want to be a food writer." At the time, I was working in advertising—utterly miserable—and turning to food as my every source of comfort. Every morning when I got ready to go to an environment I hated and every night when I came home, usually in tears, I stopped at took a long hard look at those words: I want to be a food writer. Today, I am a food writer. The frame has not left my dresser because it's a constant reminder for me to be grateful for what I have achieved and to continue to pursue new heights (and excellent food) every day. ♥
