"The movement toward wholeness is when the way of our being matches the truth of our being." Another truthbomb from
author William Paul Young's interview on @supersoulsunday. My interpretation? When our doing and our being is in alignment, we show up as our authentic selves.
This is where perfectionists miss the mark. We spend so much time portraying a perfect picture of ourselves, that there's a disconnect between what we do and who we are. Because, of course, we aren't 'perfect'. No one is. Perfect is for robots and Stepford wives. Who we are is human and real and imperfect.
Here's a deep question for you: how can we bring our doing and our being in alignment? Let me know in the comments. I'd love to know your thoughts.
