Income is like a chess piece playing a role in my life. Everyone can agree I’m sure.
It either provides fortune one week where you are making easy plays or the opposite where you don’t know how to move forward.
I’m a single adult so the bills I pay are limited but in turn, take a huge chunk of my income. I currently pay for my phone/ internet ($141 Canadian/ month), transportation costs (roughly $115 Canadian/month) and lastly rent ($775 Canadian/ month). It’s not easy on a -just above- minimum wage income starting at $11.60/ hour x 40 hours a week (before taxes). I want to be transparent in my writing and my financial situation because I’m tired of the negative thinking that can easily ensue. Blaming the government, the undeniably high rental costs or our work of employment. It is difficult to live sometimes there’s no doubt about that but unless you tackle it in a proactive manner it is GOING TO STAY THE SAME. If you don’t take steps to become richer in life, and not just with money... but with mind, body, and spirit (quite literally) it’s going to be a vicious cycle of groundhog day feels.
Point blank. I am no expert though. As you can read I’m quite possibly in the same situation as you. I still haven’t taken my advice until I finish and post this. But when are we going to stop and say, “Hey I can do anything I set my mind to?” … YOU and I are able.
