Sometimes...days don't go the way you planned, but they go the way God planned. We've always seen celebrating others at weddings as an opportunity to be reminded of God's goodness. We'd planned on getting up this morning, driving to a retro game store north of Atlanta and then heading on to a friend's wedding. A fun little date day...but God had other plans. We were both dressed and ready to go when Joshua got hit by some sort of food poisoning. It was perfect timing because we hadn't gotten on the road yet and were in the comfort of our own home. I thought to myself "this isn't what I planned! What about our date day and time to be reminded of your goodness, God?" And then I remembered a few words that @jkillzer and I both vowed to one another over 3 years ago...in sickness and in health. This day doesn't look like what I thought it would, but I have been blessed with the opportunity to live out my vow to my amazing husband in an extremely real way. Thank you, God, for your plan and for knowing what we need more than we do. So happy for our friends on their special day!!! We pray that you always look to God as the center of your relationship...He never fails you!
