I went through Ashford University Psychology program and graduated with a Master's degree and with honors. I started in August 2016 and completed the program by the end of September 2017, graduated on October 8th and had the honor of singing the national anthem. All while I had a mass that developed on my vocal cord and had to have immediate surgery. The doctors knew that I never smoked or did anything to cause this. Before surgery I was told my voice may never be the same, but I trusted God's plans for my life. After surgery, they told me not to attempt to sing for 3 to 4 months, because it wouldn't sound good. However, God allow my healing to take place and i was singing in 2 months, but being careful too. I was still working in my private practice, teaching three night classes, trying to stay in good health, be a preacher and most of all, trying to be the best husband and father ,while writing papers and more papers lol. I was able to complete everything earlier than expected. I'm so grateful for this university and the opportunity to obtain my 6th degree. Ashford University, you changed my life for better and for that, I say thank you so much. Blessings to you all.
